apricot: I love the sandals too! I'm a huge fan of Birkenstocks/granola-esque footwear for some unknown reason. I'm glad I'm not alone.

As for the color pallete. I think pale is the best pallete for spring/summer. You get away with so much more color mixing with more subdued hues, I find.
