Style Muse: Olivia Palermo

Why does Who What Wear's GOTM seem a little bit familiar to you? Oh yeah, she's Olivia Palermo NYC "social" and star of The Hills' east coast spinoff The City. I'll admit that even though I watch The City, I don't quite like the show...yet. Maybe I'll come around, who knows. What I do love is Olivia's character. Is she friend or foe and why does she always look upset or puzzled? According to rumors, she's a bit tignt on money, hence her having to work, but she's not letting it afect her style. She's mastered the art of mixing designer pieces with dirt cheap ones, something that I'll need to do now that I'm on a tight budget myself. "It's the economy!"

Example: that white blouse, third pic from the left is from Kmart. KMART people, talk about mixing cheap and chic...

Style Muse: Ashley Olsen

Though I admire Mary-Kate for her fearless approach to fashion, Ashley is and always has been my favorite Olsen.

Her effortlessly chic ( I mist stop using such cliché phrases..) approach to fashion is nothing short of admirable. She's got an innate sensibility that I absolutely envy.

She even made me want to MIX DENIMS. I haven't dont this since the 90s and once in high school. I know. Trust me, I know. But I was young and have since changed my ways..

Style Muse: Erin Wasson

Totally laid back, yet distinctively edgy. This girl gets it.

Style Muse: Ani Tzenkova

I discovered Ani Tzenkova by accident. Actually, I think it was fate that drew me to this style maven. The pic above showed up in a WhoWhatWearDaily.com post recently and inspired me immediately. This is everything I want my look to be. The juxtaposition of seemingly opposite tastes embodies my style/personality perfectly. The look is simultaneously laid back and put together. It's daring, yet unmistakeably classic. Accessorizing at it's best.

Style Muse: Fashion Toast

She might not know it yet, but by posting this picture Rumi from Fashion Toast has single-handedly re-inspired my love of the sweater dress.

I am now lusting after this gap.com find:

Now, all I need is the legs to pull it off...
